TWO BREMER: DURBAN MUSIC CONCERTS

(Tim Guenther organist & conductor. Pic supplied)

The city of Durban is proud to host the Bremer Kantorei St Stephani choir for a week-long visit:

Jazz: St Thomas Church: Tuesday, Sept 24 at 11h00

KZNPO: Playhouse Drama: Thursday, Sept 26 at 19h00

The choir is conducted by Tim Guenther, an organist and choir director based in Bremen. BKST will be performing in Durban under the auspices of the Bremen-Durban sister cities partnership.

The exchange between the two cities has grown over the past decade. This is essentially a musical partnership that was initiated by Tim Guenther and Melvin Peters, a jazz pianist and church organist based in Durban.
