C'EST SI BON

Renowned French singer, actor and playwright Dr Danièle Pascal presents a selection of cabaret, and romantic French Café songs at Rhumbelow Theatre.

The French Chanson lives on and Pascal fans are in for a treat featuring the stars of the golden age of French chanson. She imbues her music with passion and nostalgia. The repertoire includes well-known songs by Charles Aznavour, Michel Le Grand, Nana Mouskouri, Cole Porter, Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Mouloudji, Eartha Kitt and Leonard Cohen. Songs like Formi Formidable, Sous Le Ciel De Paris, Moulins Des Mon Coeur (Windmills Of My Mind) , C’est Magnifique, Milord, C’est Si Bon, Dance Me To The End Of Love as well as highlights from her best-selling album Parisette.

The show is playfully tongue-in-cheek, quintessentially Parisian, a unique style, a classic joie de vivre that will enchant old and young! Audiences are promised a class act and a high octane performance. She is accompanied on piano by Pieter du Plessis.

Shows take place on November 12 and 13 at 20h00 and November 14 at 14h00 and 18h30.
Friday and Saturday performances at 20h00 with Sunday shows starting at 18h30. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.

Tickets R100. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
