University of KwaZulu-Natal historian, Prof Goolam Vahed, will be the Speaker at the South African Writers Circle (SAWC) meeting on October 16. Prof Vahed is the co-author with Dr Ashwin Desai of Inside Indenture and the biography of Dr Monty Naicker.
