The Schlesinger
Theatre at Michaelhouse will present Laurie Levine & Josie Field as well as
Gavin Minter & Mark Fransman live in concert on May 15.
Mark Fransman and
Gavin Minter will perform the first set from 19h30 to 20h15 with Jose Field and
Laurie Levine taking the second set from 20h45 to 21h15.

Minter
(ex-Maritzburg) will collaborate and share stories with his longtime musical
partner and producer Mark Fransman. They have collectively released 11 albums
to date. They will play selections from their latest albums My Return to Paradise and Sonik Citizen. The music is influenced
by the genres of folk / blues / acoustic rock / soul and roots music. Expect an
intimate night of storytelling from the personal journeys of these two fine

connects with the intimate folk, country styles of Laurie Levine (Best Produced

After 16 years of
experience, nine albums and a dozen SAMA nominations between them, three
national tours together and now dubbed the ‘Collaboration of the Year’; these
two Johannesburg based singer songwriters come together in their folksy indie
