Season 5 of the American television drama series Homeland returns to MNet City (channel
115) on March 30 at 21h30 with the first episode titled Separation Anxiety.
This five-time Golden Globe winning political thriller
returns for a fifth season with Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, an ex-CIA
intelligence officer with bipolar disorder, now working for a philanthropic
foundation in Berlin. In the season premiere, Carrie tries to build a new life,
but is quickly pulled back into the world she left behind.
The fifth season
of Homeland comprises 12 episodes. The series is loosely based on the Israeli
television series Hatufim (English: Prisoners of War) created by Gideon
Raff and is developed for American television by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.
