SNAKE WITH SEVEN HEADS

Throughout the month of April, Siwela Sonke Dance Theatre will be touring an education programme to primary schools in Durban and its surrounding areas in KwaZulu-Natal. The performance, based on famed Durban author Gcina Mhlophe’s African classic Snake with Seven Heads, is a captivating experience for young viewers. The story is about young people, love and hope and is made possible through funds from the National Lotteries Commission.

Snake with Seven Heads has a duration of 50 minutes and is highly interactive, with opportunity for active participation by the learners which sees some of them form part of the performance. As part of the educational programme, learners are also required to engage in the themes and lessons in the story through an interactive discussion.

Bookings are available weekdays from April 4 to 22 at fee of R10 per learner. For bookings contact the Siwela Sonke studio on 031 307 6685 or email admin@siwelasonke.com
