A rabbi, a surfer and a Durban businessman walk into a theatre! That’s no joke but the start of one of South Africa’s funniest one-man shows: The Happy Clapper performed by multi-award winning comedian Aaron McIlroy which can be seen on the Virtual National Arts Festival.

Join Aaron McIlroy on a hilarious bible study as he tries to explain the unexplainable. Discover the meaning of life, love and why Abraham hates camping. Scream with laughter as Rabbi Lipschitz and father of seven demonstrates why God is the Ultimate Life Coach.

Fall about laughing as surfer Gary Van Vuuren tries to explain why the Trinity is more than just a girl’s name. And discover with reformed International Businessman VJ Moodley why Christians are so happy they just have to clap! Co-written and directed by Patrick Kenny, this show is fun for the whole family.

Presented by MacBob Productions, The Happy Clapper has a suggested age recommendation of 10 years plus. The not-to-be-missed show’s duration is one hour and 25 minutes.

Tickets are R50.  For more information, and to book, click here: https://nationalartsfestival.co.za/show/the-happy-clapper/
