Cuban Crossover with Alfredo and Clarissa

Alfredo & Clarissa Hechavarría are bringing their unique musical style – a vibrant blend of Jazz, Latin, Pop, World Music, and Classical to South Africa. Their tour features concerts, workshops, and masterclasses in collaboration with South African universities.
Featured programmes include Mambo Kings, Thank You, Nat, and Cuban Crossover. All arrangements are penned by Alfredo Hechavarría who will be on bass, Clarissa Hechavarría on vocals, and they will be joined by Riley Giandhari on drums, Alberto Chamane on percussion, Neil Gonsalves on piano.
"Our music aims to build bridges – between genres, cultures, and people. Music is the common language we all understand," says Clarissa Hechavarría.
