DEATH OF PETER SCHUTZ

Well-known artist dies at his home in KZN.

Well-known artist Peter Schutz has died after a long period of illness. The following is a message from his family:

“Peter made his final journey on October 15 at 1am.

It was exactly as he wished – peacefully, in his own bed in our home in KwaZulu-Natal, surrounded by trees and comforted by the rain and the sounds of the night bush. Heidi, Peter’s sister from Germany is here, and throughout this last week, he faded gently, and was much supported by all your thoughts and love.

The funeral service will be held at the Nun’s Chapel, at Mariannhill Monastery – KZN please watch this space or the daily press for details once confirmation of time and date is received.
