The film, produced by Anant Singh and Helena Spring, stars Leeanda Reddy (Isidingo), Tongayi Chirisa, Kaseran Pillay (Going Nowhere Slowly), Meren Reddy, Keith Gengadoo and Schuster’s comic partner, Alfred Ntombela. The film was shot on location in Durban.

Commenting on the You Tube premiere of the trailer, Leon Schuster commented, “I am thrilled that we have technology today that allows instantaneous communication with my fans. People have been asking me about the film and when they would be able to see the trailer in cinemas, but now they can watch the trailer on their computers – anywhere in the world.”

Producer Anant Singh said, “The fan base of Mr Bones is quite diverse and we thought that this was the best way to give fans exclusive access to the trailer online before it is shown at cinemas from October 17. Strengthening the online presence of the film is the official website at www.mrbones2.co.za and a Facebook Fan Page for Mr. Bones 2: Back From The Past. The film is really funny and audiences are in for a treat when the film is released on November 27 across South Africa.”
