Musical comedy in which John Travolta co-stars in drag!

On November 22 at 20h00, M-Net will screen the musical comedy Hairspray directed in 2007 by Adam Shankman. The film stars John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, James Marsden and Queen Latifah and Nikki Blonsky.

Nikki Blonsky is the lucky newcomer to star as “pleasantly plump” Baltimore teen Tracy Turnblad, who gets the opportunity to dance on her favourite music show and sets about integrating it so her black friends can also get a chance. John Travolta co-stars in drag as Tracy’s ever-supportive mother, Edna.
