Pietermaritzburg piano recitals by Christopher Duigan on February 6 and 8.

Music Revival starts the month of February with a selection of elegant and sparkling classics on February 6 and 8. With music that will certainly delight and uplift through a focus on positive energy and melodic appeal, Christopher Duigan plays Debussy’s Girl with the Flaxen Hair along with Chopin’s Waltz in F, music by Schumann, Scarlatti and Schubert's Impromptu in A-flat.

Also to be performed will be Mozart’s sparkling Sonata in D major, reflecting the composer’s celebrated bright 18th century Viennese charm, and Liszt’s astounding Hungarian Rhapsody No 2, completing this light and effervescent selection that will stimulate the mind and touch the heart.

Champagne Classics take place at 35 Montgomery Drive, Athlone, Pietermaritzburg, on February 6 at 19h30 and on February 8 at 15h30.
