GOOD NEWS FROM BAROQUE 2000

Die Rupert Musiekstigting undertakes to carry 2009 Concert Series and sponsor shortfall.

Die Rupert Musiekstigting has accepted to carry the Durban-based popular Baroque 2000 music ensemble through its 2009 Concert Series and to sponsor its shortfall. The Mariannhill Monastery Community also has accepted to host Baroque 2000 in their magnificent church throughout the Season.

All concerts will start at 15h00 on a Sunday afternoon. Coffee/tea and scones can be enjoyed at the adjacent charming Tea Garden at special price before concerts.

The eight 2009 Series Concerts will start on March 22 (date still to be 100% confirmed) and there will be one concert each month, mostly on the last Sunday of the month. Provisional dates are: March 22, May 3 and 31, June 28, September 27, October 25, November 29 and December 20. (Programme to be published soon). Tickets R80 at the door.
