Sans Moonsamy and Kaseran Pillay head for the Playhouse from March 26 to 29.
The Playhouse Company in association with SandMan Productions will present the popular hit comedy show Those Indian Guys, starring Sans Moonsamy (Made in India, Jamaican Jam, To House) and Kaseran Pillay (Mr Bones 2, Going Nowhere Slowly, The History of Bunny Chow) in the Playhouse Drama Theatre from March 26 to 29.
Described by its creators as “an East Infection, a zany two-hander sketch comedy about every Indian you ever or never met”, Those Indian Guys played to packed houses in Johannesburg recently.
“Those Indian Guys is a crazy piece about two zany Indians (and every type of Indian imaginable) and their misadventures,” says Sans. Using an array of colourful costumes, exuberant physicality and a simple set, Kaseran and Sans transform into various wacky but lovable characters to tell their fast-paced, truly South African stories.
Those Indian Guys is a fast-moving show which incorporates a combination of several genres. It is a comedy, a love story and an action hit all in one, filled with a plethora of funny parts that make up a highly entertaining whole, its components including song and dance, parody and witty sketches.
Performances are from March 26 to 28 at 20h00 and March 29 at 18h00. Duration: 80 minutes. Tickets R80 and early booking is advised.
