Durban City Orchestra to present classical concert at Mariannhill Monastery.

The Durban City Orchestra is to present a classical concert at the beautiful church at the Mariannhill Monastery on May 24. Conducted by resident conductor, Russell Scott, and the featured soloist is promising young violinist, Jane Baillie, performing Mozart's 3rd Violin Concerto in G Major. Also on the programme is Haydn’s London Symphony 104, Weber's evergreen Oberon Overture, and the challenging Egmont Overture by Beethoven.
