MACS NEWS

Midlands Arts and Crafts Society in Pietermaritzburg offers regular programmes.

There’s always something interesting happening at The Midlands Arts and Crafts Society (MACS) in Pietermaritzburg.

MACS will host life drawing with Penny Forder from 09h00 to 12h00 on Mondays (May 18 and 25). This month students will be mastering drawing from life - the portrait, the clothed figure and the nude. Admission R440 (MACS members) and R495 (non-MACS members) for four sessions (cost includes model fees).

Rukaiya Essa invites fabric artists and dressmakers and newcomers alike to make friends with their sewing machine at Midlands Arts and Crafts Society on Tuesdays (May 12, 19 and 26) from 09h00 to 12h00. This course is for enthusiastic beginners, who should have their own sewing machine. Admission is R395 (R340 MACS members) for four sessions.

Jutta Faulds hosts Mandalas, Memories and Magic Circles at Midlands Arts and Crafts Society on Wednesdays (May 20 and 27) from 09h00 to 12h00 and Fridays (May 8, 15, 22 and 29) from 17h30 to 19h00. Admission to the Wednesday courses is R395 (R340 MACS members) for four sessions. Those attending the Friday classes pay R295 (R240 MACS members) for four sessions.
