Essop Khan and Mahomed Alli present new comedy set in a hairdressing salon.
Durban theatre veterans Essop Khan and Mahomed Alli have been working together for over 45 years and are well-known for the highly successful comedy productions they present on the local and national scene.
Their latest Cut and Dye is set in a hairdressing salon and promises a fun-filled ride through the colourful characters and varied processes that make up the world of hairdressing – not to mention the gossip that is exchanged between stylist and client. Add to the melting pot, a clash between modern and traditional customs and you know the action’s going to be dynamic!
The cast comprises Khan and Alli along with long-standing colleague, the inimitable Savy Ramsamy, as well as Katinga Busarello, Teakshania Chetty and Jonathan Tifflin.
Catch Cut and Dye as it moves around the circuit, but their next run will be at Suncoast Casino’s Supernova from June 19 to 21 with performances on the Friday and Saturday at 20h15 and Sunday at 18h00.
