AFTER YOU’VE GONE

BBC Entertainment continues the amusing and trying times of Jimmy Venables.

From August 19 at 20h00, the eight-episode Series 3 of After You’ve Gone can be seen on BBC Entertainment (channel 120 on DStv).

Series 3 of continues to follow the trying times of Jimmy Venables (Nicholas Lyndhurst), the only man in Britain to have divorced his wife and ended up with his mother-in-law.

In this series, Jimmy finds that, with his ex-wife staying in Africa, what he thought of as the temporary domestic arrangement of looking after the kids in tandem with his mother-in-law is likely to become permanent.

Shocked by the idea of spending the rest of his natural life with mother-in-law Diana (Celia Imrie), Jimmy resolves to be a 'proper' Dad and takes on the running of the house. He sets out with all good intentions but before long work suffers, social life suffers, and ultimately Jimmy suffers.

As Molly (Dani Harmer) and Alex (Ryan Sampson) struggle for more freedom, Diana struggles to tighten her grip on the family, and Jimmy just struggles on. The series continues every Wednesday at 20h00.
