Interesting dialogue and provocative discussion prior to World Summit Programme and Performances.

ArtSpeak 2 will encourage interesting dialogue and provocative discussion on September 8 at Museum Africa in the Newtown Cultural Precinct in Johannesburg. The topic is Freedom of creative expression versus cultural sensitivity and speakers will be Mpho Molepo from the South African Theatre Initiative, with the respondent being Julialynne Walker from Africa Diaspora Development Links. Also present will be Prof. Tawana Kupe (TBC).

The event takes place at 09h45 for 10h15 start on September 8. Entry is free. RSVP: media@talawa.co.za

The ArtSpeak event will be immediately followed by a World Summit Programme and Performances hour-long briefing at 12 noon. The media is welcome. The summit runs from September 22 to 25 in Johannesburg.
