THE LIVE POETS SOCIETY

LiPS meets on the first Wednesday of the month.

The Durban based Live Poets Society meets on the first Wednesday night of every month at 17h30 for 18h00 in the Anchorage of the Point Yacht Club. Ample safe parking available. All Poets and lovers of poetry are welcome - no entrance fee.

After the invited poet has presented at the monthly meeting, members and visitors have an opportunity to present their poems on the evening's theme. The rationale behind this is that LiPS extend themselves as poets by attempting to write on themes that push them out of our comfort zones.

The theme for the evening on October 7 is Alien Or Belonging.
