Shree Nrityagram Dance ensemble presents Odissi dance recital.

Shree is a performance par excellence! Shrupa Sen has continued the legacy of Prothima Bhedi at their institute Nrityagram in Bangalore, India, and have received critical acclaim all over the world. Their performance captures attention immediately as their passion, artistry, discipline and radiant energy is what makes this team uniquely different from performances seen in recent times.

Thanks to the Office of the Indian Consul General and Teamwork Productions, Shree Nrityagram Dance Ensemble will present Shared History which includes an impressive presentation of one of the Classical forms, Odissi in Durban the home of Indian Arts in SA.

Described as “superbly sensuous dance – a piece of temple sculpture come alive!”, Shared History – The Indian Experience will have one performance in Durban on September 17 at 19h30 at the Playhouse. Booking is at Computicket.

The Consul General & Teamwork productions have made it possible for all dance institutes to benefit by allowing a reduction in the fee for block bookings at R60.
