The work is by students and friends associated with Maggie Strachan’s Durban studio. Those participating include experienced artists and aspiring novices. Styles, techniques and subjects of the works vary but the common factor is oil paint.
Also on exhibition is a series of collaborative paintings by five of the artists. Here the concept of shared experience has been extended to include group participation in individual paintings.
