Catch the last concert of Baroque 2000’s highly successful 2009 season at the Church of the Monastery Mariannhill on December 20**:
Corelli’s Christmas Concerto (per la Notte di Natale) is the seasonal item on the programme, along with Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto no 3 and two works of Vivaldi: the Concerto for two violins in A minor, (soloists Annien van der Linde and Ralitsa Cherneva) and his Concerto for Strings R121. Enjoy tea, coffee and scones in the Monastery Gardens before or after the concert. Tickets R80 at the door and there is ample safe parking.
** Please note that the starting time is different to the usual Baroque concerts in that the concert commences at11h00.
