The final gig this year for St. Clements on Mondays will be on December 7, when Hip Hop and Spoken Word artist Iain Robinson (EWOK) will perform Rubix Cube Rapping, a selection of his favourite performance poetry pieces plus some of his freshest work. This will include previously unheard pieces from his latest forthcoming one-man show EWOK is LIVE! which will premier at the 2010 Musho! Festival in January.
The programme of drama/poetry readings starts up again in January to offer a continuation of this popular project. “We have developed an audience of regulars who book, and new faces each week,” says one of the co-founders Professor Pieter Scholtz. “It has been a most stimulating and worthwhile adventure.”
