Stuart Mey show to open at Beverly Hills Hotel, Umhlanga, on December 18.

Stuart Mey will be presenting one of his entertaining supper theatre shows at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Umhlanga from December 18.

“The one goal that is common to all recording artistes, is to make it big in the United States,” explains Stuart Mey. “Both Native Americans and foreigners alike cannot really consider themselves as having “made it” internationally until they’ve conquered the American market. Whilst Hollywood can be considered the movie capital of the world, New York is where the world’s top musical performers need to make it big.”

They Played the Big Apple not only celebrates the music of the hit makers who started their careers in New York - people like, Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow, Carole King, The Village People, and Neil Diamond, but it includes other Americans like Billy Joel, George Benson and Christina Aguilera who also became icons in New York.

Appearing in the production will be Stuart Mey himself alongside Cherise Roberts and Bruce Boome.

They Played the Big Apple runs at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Umhlanga from December 18 to January 2. Tickets R350 pp include the meal and the show. Bookings through Bianca on 031 561 2211.
