The Department of Correctional Services is contributing towards skills development by providing opportunities to gain work experience in various skills areas. It is therefore inviting applications for an Internship Programme that would run for a period of twelve months.
Interns will be placed nationally within the Department of Correctional Services (Head Office, Regions or Provinces and Management Areas). It is required that candidates would have their own accommodation and transport, DCS will only pay a monthly allowance.

Applications must be graduates in any one of the fields specified below and must be at least 18 to 35 years old: Successful interns will be expected to sign an Internship Agreement. Categories include Graphic Design (fine arts); Photography); Arts (music & drama); Journalism, and Information and Communications Technology.

Should the applicant not have heard from the department within two months of the closing date, it will be an indication that the application has not been successful.
