(Pic: Leandros Staverou)The next Baroque 2000 Series concert will be held on June 20 at 11h00 (please note change from the usual time) at the Church of the Mariannhill Monastery in Pinetown. The soloist will be guitar maestro Leandros Staverou who will perform Vivaldi’s Guitar concerto in D major. This is the first Guitar Concerto presented by Baroque 2000
Also on the all-Vivaldi programme will be two of his Concerto Grossi with Ralitza Cherneva and Refiloe Oliphant (violins); Trio Sonata for 2 violins and continuo in D Major; Trio sonata for 2 violins and continuo in G minor, and Alla Rustica.
