Architecture ZA 2010 is set to become Africa’s premier architectural festival as it brings together leading-edge thinkers and practitioners from around the globe. It takes place in Johannesburg’s Newtown precinct from September 21 to 27 and will open debate about Southern Africa’s urban future.
Keynote speakers include Spanish architects Fernando Menis, Anton Gabril and Debora Molina as well as South African heavyweights Peter Rich and Andrew Makin. Included in the festival are a variety of events and exhibitions across Johannesburg including poetry readings, city walking tours, live music and drama performances and photography and architecture exhibitions.
