The Promax BDA’s 2010 Awards Ceremony hosted in Los Angeles on June 24, saw DStv and its on-air creative agency, Studio Zoo, take home four awards at the star-studded event. A gold Promax was awarded for ‘mid-year retrospective’ (aka Billy Joel), ‘DStv Players – the Seductresses’ received a silver, and the Pay TV brand won two bronze awards for ‘Guess who’s been watching: driving lesson’ promotion - these have proved popular amongst both local and international viewers.

DStv marketing and sales director, Graham Pfuhl, believes that winning these awards has given DStv the official stamp of approval from the industry and peers in terms of creative ability, saying: “Needless to say, we will be using today’s achievement to inspire our collective team even further – and cement our position in the local industry as Pay TV brand of choice.”
