(Detail from the poster)“For the past month I have been painting The Naked Bald People onto wood using its texture (wood grain) as the body of all my artworks,” says artist Warren Raysdorf. An exhibition of his work can be seen at the City Zen internet cafe. Corner Gordon and Florida Roads in Morningside, Durban, from October 10 to 31.
At the opening of the exhibition on October 10 which runs from 15h00 to17h00, Raysdorf asks that guests bring a piece of wood on entrance so he may continue to recycle unwanted wood and create something of an artwork from it and celebrate art! There will be a bring and braai out-back with music, free bananas and Gorilla art!
