Buckle up for the ultimate gourmet experience – 50 metres above uShaka Marine World! With 22 guests seated around a table suspended from a crane, Dinner In the Sky is one of the most unique culinary encounters that you will ever have.
You are invited to eat up and enjoy a truly divine view of Durban’s Golden Mile between December 15 and January 5 – peak holiday season in Surf City.
uShaka is the first KwaZulu-Natal venue to host this heavenly dining venue which has travelled as far as Lisbon, London, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Dubai, Las Vegas and Paris. It gives the phrase “dining under the stars” a whole new meaning, not to mention enjoying breakfast or lunch with your head in the clouds – quite literally. In addition, Dinner In the Sky offers a whole new high for those planning anything from board meetings to weddings to end-of-year and New Year’s celebrations.
On arrival, guests are greeted with cocktails and champagne by the friendly Dinner in the Sky Angels. Once registration is complete, patrons are strap into their seats to prepare for a graceful lift off. Once they reach between 40 and 50 metres above uShaka, the flying chef and his helpers will serve starters. As for the rest of the menu – well, the sky’s the limit. Popular dishes include sushi, a seafood platter or even steak flambé!
Meals cost between R150 and R500. More information on www.ushakamarineworld.co.za or phone 031 328 8107 for bookings.
