Lotus FM’s hugely popular soapie Lollipop Lane is growing in leaps and bounds and audiences can win handsome prizes.
It has just increased its listenership according to the latest Radio Audience Measurement Survey (RAMS). The comedy has been running for just over two years, and is fast approaching its 500th episode.
Now Lotus FM is offering even more by giving away handsome prizes: On November 22, the station launched a four-week competition linked to its hit soapie, which is broadcast every weekday, from 09h45 to 10h00. Clues are given in the episodes from Monday to Thursday, and on Friday, calls are taken live on air for the answer. The first correct caller last Friday won a washing machine as her prize.
Three more prizes are up for grabs for lucky Lotus FM listeners to win during the competition. These are a home theatre system, a video camera, and a microwave oven.
Lollipop Lane is written by Clinton Marius and produced and directed for Lotus FM by Raeesa Mohamed.
