AUDITION CALL – CAPE TOWN

BigLeaf and ROLSKA Productions announce auditions for their upcoming production of: Edges – a song cycle musical by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Directed by Paul Griffiths (Shirley Valentine, The Last Five Years, Educating Rita) and musical direction by Roland Perold (Old Wicked Songs, Peter Pan, The Fantasticks) this production has the same creative team that bought I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change to Cape Town in 2010, winning the Standard Bank Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival.

Edges has been selected to appear on the “Arena Platform” recognising excellence, innovation and creativity at this year’s Grahamstown Festival.

The show requires two men and two women, playing ages 19 to 35, who have the ability to play a wide range of characters across a diverse age range. Actors need to be vocally strong, physically agile and emotionally connected with a clear understanding of the musical theatre genre. Good sense of comedy is a must.
