Durban meets Africa for a 60 minute non-interrupted party mix on television on January 21.

One of the most respected DJs in the club deejay scene will set the decks ablaze on the next Channel O Celebrity Bassment mix on January 21 at 18h00. Channel O is available on DStv channel 320.

Mthokozi Khathi, better known as DJ Tira, formed the deejay duo Durban’s Finest together with Dj Sox in 2004. They were the team that first exploded the Durban sound onto the South African dance scene. Soon after that, Afrotainment was born - which started off as an events company and ultimately ended up as a record label. DJ Cndo was the stable’s first artist and to date they’ve produced hit makers like Dj Fisherman, Afro Soul and Channel O Music Video Award winners Big Nuz.

Bassment is the big O’s “visual mixing” technology where the Deejay mixes music videos back to back on your screen, playing only the freshest hits, mixed into each other non-stop.
