Due to the demand for tickets at the ‘sold out’ performances of this concert last weekend, Music Revival will add an additional performance this Sunday. Booking is essential.
Christopher Duigan’s annual New Year’s Concert of easy-going piano entertainment includes ragtime by Scott Joplin and Joseph Lamb, Brazilian tango by Ernesto Nazareth, recaps of some of the highlights of the Celebrating Chopin performances from earlier in the year, contemporary mood music by Richard Guinness, Sheep May Safely Graze by Bach and other interesting items.
The concert will take place on January 9 at 15h30 at 35 Montgomery Drive, Pietermaritzburg. The venue opens 30 minutes prior to starting time and the performance lasts approximately 90 mins including interval. Tickets R80 includes iced-tea and coffee. There is secure parking.
