PLAYHOUSE ARTS NETWORK FORUM

The Playhouse Company will hold its next Arts Network Forum in the Playhouse Alhambra Room on February 23 between 11h00 and 14h00. This is part of its ongoing initiative to engage with stake-holders in Durban’s performing arts community.

The context of the meeting will focus largely on two topics, of special interest to arts practitioners. The first of these, entitled ‘What it means to be an artist in South Africa’ will be spearheaded by the well-known poet and arts activist, Dr Don Mattera. The second topic, dealing with Artists’ Contracts, will be in the hands of the widely respected Durban actor, playwright and lawyer, Ashwin Singh.
