MUDDY PAWS FARM

Muddy Paws Farm is situated in the village of Crestholme, on the edge of the Valley of a Thousand Hills. The little farm, comprising just under four acres, has over 600 lavender bushes for ‘pick-your-own’ in season, a herb nursery and display garden, a little shop stocked with home produce and edibles, garden planters, herbal and other crafts, vintage bric-a-brac and a picnic area for enjoying goodies bought at the shop.

Picnic baskets can also be pre-ordered to enjoy at the picnic benches or in the lavender fields. There is also a host of animal people, from Daisy the cow, to Gershwin the Goose, to welcome you.

School trips are welcome, and an educational package can be tailor-made to suit a specific curriculum. Adult craft courses, and children’s craft courses, particularly a children’s Herbal Awareness Course, is planned for this year, amongst other happenings.

Muddy Paws is also able to accommodate Ladies teas, Garden Club visits, etc.

The Insight Art Gallery is run by Nick Holloway – an up and coming young art photographer of note. Exhibitions are planned for later this year. Those interested in exhibiting work, should contact Nick on 031 7763145. Commissioned works are also considered.

The venue is open daily from 11h00 to 16h00 except Mondays & Tuesdays. Phone 031 7763145 or 083 942 0720 or visit www.muddypawsfarm.blogspot.com/ or www.muddypawsfarm.co.za
