JONAH AND THE WHALE

Jonah and The Whale is more than just a children’s show. It’s education through entertainment and is bound to keep your youngsters talking for weeks on end.

In association with The Durban Botanic Gardens, Rhumbelow Theatre presents Jonah and the Whale offering fun for youngsters in the July school holidays. The show runs until July 15 (Monday to Friday) at 10h00 in The Durban Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre.

An exciting and educational musical narration of the classic Bible tale, Jonah and the Whale will be performed by Jaziel Vaugh’hann and Michelle Wallace, using fun and familiar singalongs, dancing, sock puppets and toys.

Jaziel is a former youth Leader (better known as Jaz, singer, writer, lyrist and entertainer) and Michelle Wallace (Musical Educator at Morningside Primary School, writer, piano teacher and musical performer) share a combined 17 years of experience in the entertainment world, including a great passion for working with young people! Musical theatre performers, Jaz and Michelle were seen together more recently at Zacks or the Zanzibar Restaurant.
