Baroque 2000 resumes its 2011 season with a concert at the usual venue, the excellent Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill, on August 28 at 15h00. David Snaith is the distinguished soloist in Telemann's Viola Concerto.

The programme also includes three pieces from recent concerts which will be played again by popular demand: Biber's remarkable Battaglia with its extraordinary special effects; Telemann's virtuosic Don Quxotte, and Pachelbel's renowned Canon. Also on the programme will be one of Handel's Concerti Grossi.
