Once again, the KZNSA Shop and Gallery are looking forward to bringing to the public a fantastic array of art, craft and other goodies over its annual Buzzart Christmas fair. To this end, they are calling on all crafters to submit possible inclusions. The selectors are on the lookout for unique, original, quirky, fun and affordable gifts to put on the fair.
So - anyone making goods and goodies that qualify, the KZNSA wants to hear from you!
The KZNSA has requested that stock should begin coming in from the beginning of November. Established suppliers who are busy making new things should let Gloria Hoff see these items in advance, so that she can decide whether they are suitable or not.
The artist’s block has become something of a KZNSA tradition, and this will again be part of Buzzart. The blank blocks are currently available from Gloria in the KZNSA Shop at a cost of R30 each for members and R50 for non-members. There is a maximum of two blocks at a time per person. In a small change from previous years, there will be no stipulated price for the finished blocks - the artists can set their own price.
To make way for Buzz Art, the KZNSA Gallery Shop Stock Clearance Sale will take place on September 4 from 11h00 to 14h00. Everything is at rock bottom prices – from R10 and includes glassware, small art, ceramics, cushions, kitchenware etc.
