MNET SATURDAY PREMIERES

M-Net Action’s Saturday Premieres focus on the actor, Samuel L Jackson, the latest being The Man and Changing Lanes.

The Man - September 17 at 20h00. Samuel L. Jackson appears with Eugene Levy in this movie directed by Les Mayfield in 2005. (13VL) FBI agent Vann and salesman Fidler are thrown together when the latter breezes into town for a convention around the same time that Vann, whose partner has just been killed, is trying to pull off a sting operation. Fidler picks up a package meant for Vann, and next thing, the bad guys mistake Fidler for the powerful "Man".

Changing Lanes - September 24 at 20h00. This time it’s Ben Affleck cast alongside Samuel L Jackson in this film which was produced in 2002 and directed by Roger Michell. (PG 13VL) Two cars collide on the FDR expressway. The drivers’ two seemingly-opposite men are Gavin Banek and Doyle Gipson. In his haste, Gavin leaves behind an important legal file which Doyle uses to his advantage, setting off a brutal cycle of revenge between these two men who began that particular Good Friday as strangers.
