Subtitled Such a Night – with Elvis, this show will be performed by Belinda Dolphin and Jaziel Vaugh'hann over this weekend and next weekend at Rhumbelow Theatre.
From the Witness Hilton Arts Festival 2010, Belinda Dolphin & Jaziel Vaugh'hann collaborate in this festive trip down memory lane, celebrating music from the King of rock & roll, gospel, blues, country, pop ballads and love songs. Who else could we talking about but Elvis!!
The songs are about vitality, rebelliousness, good humour, but above all, love and romance. From the heart-wrenching Crying in the Chapel and Love Me Tender to the fun Jailhouse Rock and Such a Night, this show promises to get audiences tapping, snapping, swaying and clapping. The talented duo performs hits from the 60's such as Suspicious Minds through to contemporary duets like If I Can Dream and The Prayer. The show is sure to appeal to all ages.
Performances on Saturdays at 20h00 (September 24 and October 1) and Sundays (September 25 and October 2) at 18h30. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.
Tickets R100 (block booking discount of less 25% for eight or more patrons). Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
