Making Mandalas with Jutta Faulds will be a three-week course on Wednesdays from October 12 to 26.

Making Mandalas has been recognized as a therapeutic activity for a long time and stretching over many religions and cultures. “Mandala” means a circle, which is a most comforting shape, and exploring and discovering its magic requires no previous “art” experience or indeed skills.

“Particular emphasis in this course will be given to finding ways to make time in a busy life for pursuing your mandala making because, through sustainable daily mandala making, you will get the most benefit from this,” says Wendy Bloy of MACS. “Thus the course will touch on time management as well as different decorative techniques which can be adapted according to people’s needs, time constraints and work space.”

The course runs on October 12, 19 and 26 from 09h00 to 12 noon at MACS Art House, 23 Haldane Road, Pietermaritzburg. There is safe parking from 23 Ritchie Road entrance. Cost R325 (R285 MACS members). Phone Joy on 033 386 6500 to book and for any basic requirements.
