Exquisite antique accessories and beautiful jewels - including two limited edition silver necklaces from the Sunflower Children of Hope range - will go under the gavel, along with a number of sublime Classic Cars at the next Jewellery and Classic Car Auction hosted by Consolidated Auctioneers in Umgeni Business Park on November 9.
Included in the Classic Car Auction will be a rare 1913 Mercer with a 5 litre side-valve T-head producing 40hp at 1200rpm. This surviving vehicle is one of only a handful left around the world and was completely lovingly overhauled by Kloof vintage car enthusiast, David Black.
The silver necklaces have been created exclusively for the Sunflower Fund, by acclaimed Cape Town designer, Lesle Wragg. The funds raised from the sale of the 'little girls' and 'little boys' will be used to pay for the tissue typing of potential bone marrow stem cell donors for inclusion on the South African Bone Marrow Registry.
