The Elizabeth Gordon Gallery is hosting an exhibition to celebrate COP 17 being held in Durban for the first time.
The exhibition is entitled Durban – City For All Seasons and a group of 16 artists have enthusiastically taken up the challenge to paint something of the city whilst also bringing the topic of climate change and green awareness into the theme.
“Whilst knowing that Durban people are always very receptive to paintings of their surroundings, I also wanted to be able to offer our visitors a chance to visit a Durban gallery and see what our artists have to offer. Plus it is an opportunity for them to take home a memento of Durban and the congress,” says Joy Reynolds of Elizabeth Gordon Gallery.
Durban – City For All Seasons runs through until the festive season, and gallery hours are weekdays 08h00 to 16h30 and Saturdays 09h00 to 12h30. The Elizabeth Gordon Gallery is situated at 120 Florida Road. More information on 031 303 8133.
