It’s touted as the love story of all love stories. Kuch Kuch Happens is a classical tale of the meeting of two souls destined for each other. It’s a Bollywood-style love story told entirely through music and dance while flaunting mixtures of action, comedy, melodrama and playback songs.
Opening on March 23 at Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World for a short run, Shivani Kara and Eastern Moves Productions set out to wow audiences once again with this all-new dance extravaganza which combines everything from conventional Indian dance form to hip hop, contemporary and Latin American.
Kuch Kuch Happens is a classic love triangle tale spiced with a few twists and surprises and boasting a cast of 30 multi-talented and mesmerizing dancers. The dazzling costumes, jazzed-up song pieces and non-stop onstage action promise an entertaining evening.
“Showcasing these dance extravaganzas has always been my passion. Watching satisfied and excited audiences has inspired me to constantly come up with new material,” says Shivani Kara.
Kuch Kuch Happens runs at the SunZone until April 1 with shows starting at 20h00 (Sundays at 18h00). Tickets R100 booked through Computicket and the Suncoast box office. Seating is reserved, so early bookings are advised.
