Soloists Refiloe Olifant and Ralitza Cherneva)Baroque 2000's next concert takes place on May 20 and will be held, as usual, at the beautifully situated Church of the Monastery Mariannhill with its excellent acoustics:
The soloists will be Refiloe Olifant and Ralitza Cherneva in Vivaldi's Concerto for two violins in A minor. Also in this all-Italian programme are Albinoni's Suite in G, the Sinfonia a 6 (i.e. in six contrapuntal parts) by Battista Vitali and the Passacaglia and Sonata a 4 by Biagio Marini.
