DAG LIFE DRAWING SESSIONS

The Durban Art Gallery invites visual artists, both beginners and those who wish to improve their drawing skills, to join the Life Drawing Sessions starting on August 24. The session will provide an opportunity to draw directly from a female or male model, learning to use line, tone and colour and a wide range of drawing media, to expressively explore the human form.

Life drawing is also useful for students wishing to put together a portfolio for progression to further study in art, design, animation or architecture.

The sessions will take place every Friday starting on August 24 and run from 14h00 to 15h30. The fee is R40 and participants must be 18-years-old and above. Those interested should contact the Durban Art Gallery’s education department on 031 311 2274/5

The Durban Art Gallery is situated on the 2nd Floor City Hall – entrance in Anton Lembede (Smith) Street.
