RENE TSHIAKANYI AT PAVILION HOTEL

Charming French-Congolese singer Rene Tshiakanyi serenades guests every Friday evening from 18h00 to 20h00 as the sun sets at the elegant, new after-work meeting place – the Pavilion Hotel cocktail lounge.

Originally from the Congo, Tshiakanyi sings in French and English. He describes his music and compositions as a mixture of classic pop; RnB; reggae and Zouk (a mixture of French and Caribbean music). His sound is undeniably distinctive, peppered with his distinctive grace and charming anecdotes.

In close proximity to the ICC and the Durban beachfront, The Pavilion Hotel has recently undergone an extreme make-over and can now consider itself one of the city’s more coveted and elegant establishments. Situated at the corner of KE Masinga / Old Fort Road and O R Tambo / Marine Parade, the hotel is well placed to become a popular venue for sundowners, after-work rendezvous or for pre-dinner cocktail. A new cocktail menu is available daily and they offer 30% off drinks from 18h00 to 19h00 on Friday evenings.
