The next programmes at the Centre for Jazz & Popular Music at the University of Kwa-Zulu-Natal Howard College campus take place on the following evenings:
September 12 (tonight): Amani Band with leading vocalist Calvin Lubala supported by Lucy Mendes and Seraphin Lubala. The rest of the group includes Elly Bukasa (lead guitar), Shandrack Moke (bass guitar), Chris Mbuyi (keyboard), Toussaint Kasumbi (drum), Fiston KasumbI (conga) and Peter Shishe (trumpet)
September 19: Ha!man: Ant Cawthorn-Blazeby (violin), Fran-cious the HA!Man (cello)
The music runs from 18h00 to 19h30. Admission R35 (R20 pensioners, R10 students). A cash bar is available. More information on 031 260 3385.
